As a result, after many preliminary 200m freestyle among men, Chinese swimmer Song Yan won first place and was declared world champion, Japanese Katsuhiro Matsumoto took second place, Briton Duncan Scott and russian swimmer Martin Malyutin won third places.
Women’s winners in the longest heat at 1500 meters were won by Italian Simona Kvadarella, German Sarah Köhler won second place, and Chinese woman Wang Jianjiah won third place.
So, at the World Swimming Championships, swimmers competed in various types of swimming, such as breaststroke, butterfly, freestyle, crawl, diving, synchronized swimming, and more.
The desire of outstanding athletes of the Republic of Tajikistan to occupy prominent places was unsuccessful, but they are not discouraged and will constantly represent the Republic of Tajikistan in world-class competitions.
